ROUGH DRAFT: from blank to beautiful!

WORDS image

** Our vision: Bringing together Men and Women, both New and Established Voices, from Diverse Cultures, Occupations, and Seasons of Life, the Faith & Culture Writers Conference is a one-of-a-kind Community of Creatives.**

The theme of our 2015 Gathering  is Rough Draft: from blank to beautiful.

We want to inspire, connect and equip both Fiction and Non-Fiction Writers, Authors and Bloggers as well as other Creatives and Artists to Dare, to Risk, to Dream, to live out their creative calling, and then see where God would take their words and story and art. We want to give artists permission to create, permission to not have to be perfect, permission to not compare their work with others. Permission to just Be.                                                                                                                         Because Your Story Matters.

This year, we have EXPANDED our event by adding our NEW! BREATHING SPACE-A Mini RETREAT experience  during the day on Friday, April 10, 2015  from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. featuring Keynote Speakers Nish Weiseth, author of Speak and Founding Editor of  A Deeper Story, and Seth Haines, plus 12 Breakout Sessions to choose from; then after lunch, there will be writing/inspirational/sharing time in three small groups led by  Seth Haines and Brooke Perry, Karen Zacharias Spear, Romal Tune and Tony Kriz, with feedback and a reading.

Then, our Conference continues Friday evening April 10, 2015 and the following day, Saturday, April 11, 2015, with featured speakers William Paul Young, Emily P. Freeman, Romal Tune, Phil Long, Tony Kriz, Cornelia Seigneur, and music by Sunia Gibbs, plus 25 breakout sessions to choose from with speakers like Shane Blackshear, AJ Swoboda, Chip MacGregor, Carolyn McCready, Bob Welch, Micah J.
