blairBlair Jacobson

Blair Jacobson attended Westmont College and Portland State University before he began working for DC Jacobson in 2009. He works with authors to develop absolutely Gosh-Wow proposals. And because he believes that a commitment to quality and thoughtful writing can change the world, he’s passionate about editing and discussing and collaborating and arguing and brainstorming and dreaming with authors about their books. He is also shamelessly open to bribes and promises to give particular attention to any current or prospective authors who mails him a Fine or Near Fine first edition (Preferably winners of the Pulitzer Prize for fiction, but he’s not too picky). Blair and his wife, Rachel, live in Portland with Mr. Bingley, a white golden retriever. When he isn’t reading or single-handedly cheering the Blazers to victory, he volunteers at the local charity bookstore and drinks awesome coffee at awesome hipster coffee shops.

Don Jacobson

Don Jacobson has been involved in publishing for over 30 years. As owner and president of Multnomah Publishers for 14 years, Don worked with hundreds of authors and oversaw the production of 1,000+ book titles. Multnomah’s readers enjoyed The Prayer of Jabez, Redeeming Love, I Kissed Dating Goodbye, For Women Only, and books from Dr. James Dobson, Henry Blackaby, Max Lucado, Andy Stanley, Robin Jones Gunn and many more.

Don’s favorite part about publishing has always been working with authors and helping them develop creative book concepts. After selling Multnomah to Random House in 2006, Don founded D.C. Jacobson & Associates, where he continues to do what he loves–dreaming about books that can change the world by changing the Church.

That passion is still the heartbeat of Don’s professional life as he leads DCJA.
