I am a writer-mama of two; wife of a sports enthusiast; daughter and student of God; and lover of coffee, writing, and orange pens. While I have no emotional affiliation with Oregon’s popular sports teams, I am a fan of antique typewriters and faithfully root for the Oxford comma, semi-colon, and words in danger of extinction.
True to my word-nerdy, book-wormish nature, I adore editing and have been doing it for the last 14 years. This is my third year speaking at Faith and Culture Writers’ Conference. Portland is my favorite place in all the land, but I’m living and learning life in the suburbs, writing everything down as I go, and encouraging others to do the same. I attend Lake Grove Presbyterian Church in Lake Oswego, lifting my best worship to the One who guides my life and my pen.
