Jelani Greenidge is a passionate communicator with a drive to inform, inflame, and inspire. Right now he does this as a freelance writer, worship musician, emcee/producer, and stand-up comic. He tackles a variety of subjects, but his sweet spot is right at the three-way intersection of nerd culture, hip-hop culture, and evangelical culture (stop and say hi, it’s not a busy intersection).
Jelani’s award-winning writing has been featured in Urban Faith magazine, The Covenant Companion, ThinkChristian.net, and The Huffington Post. He teaches music at Trinity Lutheran School, attends St. Johns Covenant Church, and resides with his wife Holly in leafy north Portland, alongside several resilient plants, a beleaguered XBOX 360, and no pets.
